Waldport
is about five minutes away via the scenic bay road, and
Newport is twenty
minutes north on Highway 101. Both of these towns have unique
shops. The Newport bay front and Nye Beach area are very popular for
their galleries, specialty stores and eateries, and facilities as
the Undersea Gardens,
Wax Works
and Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not.
The South Beach area has many popular attractions such as the
Oregon Coast Aquarium, Marine Science Center,
Rogue Brewery, and
more varied shops. The outlet stores and the casino call to many
from Lincoln City,
a pleasant drive up the coast taking you through
Depoe Bay with its
spectacular waves splashing high into the air. With miles of beaches up and down the coast, each has unique characteristics to explore.
